Sophie Borney

Sophie was born in Aosta a small town in the north-west of Italy in 1998. She grew up in a little village called Cogne and was raised in the middle of nature where she practiced mountain sports and artistc gymnastic. She started to study ballet and contemporary dance in 2010 in a local school and year by year she widened her knowledge about the artist world thanks to many dance and musical theatre workshops. She moved to OfficinaDanza a new dance school in Aosta where her teachers gave her the strength to start thinking of dance as a professional career. In 2017 Sophie started her dance education at the university Musik und Kunst in Vienna (MUK) . Dance gave and gives her the possibility to visit many countries and discover new styles enriching her research as a dancer and as a person. 

Sophie performed at Choreoloop 2.0 with a solo “Sentilo” choreographed by Diana Wöhrl.
